Kayli was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ where she graduated from Liberty High School in 2012. Kayli participated in several sports growing up, including gymnastics, cheerleading, and track and field. Multiple injuries throughout her gymnastics career introduced her to the world of physical therapy at a young age. It was through these experiences, both positive and negative, that a love for human movement and caring for others was inspired. Kayli headed up the mountain to complete her BS in Biomedical Science at Northern Arizona University in 2016. True to her Lumberjack roots, she went on to attend the NAU Phoenix Biomedical Campus to obtain her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2022.
When she is not in the clinic, you can usually find Kayli in the gym, traveling, or soaking up some AZ sunshine with her husband, Ben, and their two dogs Sonny and Dino. As a lifelong athlete herself, currently competing in Olympic weightlifting, Kayli places an emphasis on a movement-based treatment approach. Kayli is a strong believer that strength training and movement is the key to longevity and giving people the tools to move better will help them stay active to do what they love.
While Kayli enjoys treating people of all ages and backgrounds, she has found a special interest in pelvic floor physical therapy. She is passionate about treating women throughout their lifespan and maximizing quality of life for those whose symptoms have been brushed off or deemed a “normal” experience as a woman. Pelvic floor dysfunction may be common, but it certainly does not have to be a part of your life and Kayli would love to help you! While she loves sharing her belief that no goal is too big, Kayli also recognizes the importance of meeting her patients where they are at and celebrating all the small victories throughout their journey.
