Dallis Shingler was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Physiology in 2016 from the University of Arizona. During his undergraduate career, he began volunteering at local physical therapy clinics and immediately found an interest in helping individuals improve their functional capabilities through movement. After working for two years as a physical therapy technician, Dallis moved to Phoenix to attend physical therapy school. He graduated from Northern Arizona University at the Phoenix Biomedical Campus in 2021 with his Doctor of Physical Therapy and joined Desert Edge PT shortly after.
Dallis has a passion to improve the lives of his patients through the correction of biomechanics and functional movement. He works to educate his patients about their ailments and involve them in their rehab process. Additionally, Dallis looks to utilize the best available evidence for treatment therapies to individualize support for patients’ goals and return them to the activities they love and enjoy!
When Dallis is not working in the clinic he enjoys spending time with his wife Kelly, newborn son Caleb, and their two dogs Milo and Benji. Additionally, he enjoys hiking, running, and playing basketball and volleyball. Dallis has experienced first-hand the benefits of exercise and functional movement and continues to live an active lifestyle to improve his overall health.
Dallis is excited to serve the areas of Peoria, Glendale, Surprise, Sun City, and Vistancia. We would love to welcome you, your family and friends, and your patients to Desert Edge Physical Therapy.
