Connor Nickel, PT, DPT

My name is Connor Nickel, one of the Physical Therapists here at Desert Edge Physical Therapy. I was born and raised right here in the Valley. I am married and have two children of my own. I
graduated from Midwestern University with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in May of
2021 and before that I graduated from ASU with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology. My professional
interests include vertigo and dizziness as well as general orthopedic treatment of the athletic
population. My personal interests include taking some time away with my family, weight-lifting,
reading and learning about the Bible, and just being out in nature. I got into physical therapy
because my mission in life is to serve others and it’s something I think I’ve been gifted with. My
other core conviction is that the human body is one the most incredible things ever created.
This profession takes both of these and blends them perfectly. It also allows for me to get to
know people more personally than I would if I were in a more traditional medical setting. I’m
excited to be a part of the DEPT team because I think we have excellent patient care and a
warm environment for growth which we can share with the West Valley.
